Our mission at Fontainebleau Children’s Academy is to provide a safe, nurturing environment while delivering emotional, educational, and developmental needs to all children. Our compassionate teachers and support staff are committed to the educational growth of little ones from the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years old.

This unwavering commitment is what distinguishes us from the rest, ensuring a unique and comprehensive approach to childcare.
To further prioritize safety and convenience, parents receive individual codes for secure access through our doors, and we've streamlined billing with a simple payment system. Using iPads, we efficiently manage attendance by clocking children in and out each day. Your child's safety is our top priority, with our teachers and staff being certified in first aid and CPR. Continuous education is integral to our ethos, with yearlong training programs for all our teachers.

Hi! We’re Matthew and Sara Trautman—proud parents, lifelong learners, and the heart behind Fontainebleau Children’s Academy. As a husband-and-wife team, we founded this school with one very personal mission: to create a place where children are genuinely loved, supported, and inspired every single day. A place where parents feel safe, seen, and heard.
This journey began when we were searching for a preschool that felt like an extension of home—where our own children could grow, thrive, and be truly known. When we couldn’t quite find what we were looking for, we decided to build it ourselves. Today, Fontainebleau has grown into a network of top-rated schools, but our heart has never changed.
We’re also the proud parents of three amazing boys, and we know firsthand what it means to entrust someone else with your child’s care. That experience shapes every decision we make and reminds us daily of the responsibility we carry—for your children and ours.
With more than 25 years of corporate leadership experience, Matthew focuses on the behind-the-scenes operations that make our schools run smoothly and sustainably. Sara, an educator at heart, leads with creativity and compassion—overseeing curriculum, teacher support, and the joyful environments we’re known for. Together, we work side by side to ensure every detail reflects our core belief: ALL children deserve the very best start in life.
