Meet the Director of Mid City

Clorissa Hayes

Center Director of FCA Mid City

Clorissa Hayes brings over a decade of experience and a lifelong passion for early childhood education to her role as Center Director at Fontainebleau Children’s Academy Mid-City.

Her journey began at just 13 years old, volunteering at her church’s childcare center. By 16, she was working professionally in the field, and by 18, she was teaching toddlers at Keepers of His Flock. Over the years, Clorissa has gained hands-on experience in every classroom, ultimately serving as a Pre-K4 teacher and leadership liaison during the center’s transition to Raising Angels Learning Center.

She holds several key credentials, including a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, a Pre-K Ancillary Certificate, and a National Administrator Credential. In 2021, Clorissa launched Kountry Kids Playhouse, a community-focused summer camp, and later served as Center Director at Greater Bridge Academy.

From 2023 to 2025, she served as the Administrative Coordinator at IDEA Public Schools, where she further developed her skills in leadership and school operations. Although her time there concluded with the closure of Louisiana campuses, Clorissa is thrilled to return to her roots in early childhood education—her true calling.

As Director of Fontainebleau Mid-City, Clorissa is dedicated to building a nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment where children, families, and staff alike can grow and succeed.
